A Newry artist is making a name for herself in the international art scene with her body positive paintings which will be showcased at an art festival in the south of France’s showbiz hotspot Cannes.

Clíodhna Doherty, who has a foundation degree in art as well as a BA in animation and design, is a body positive artist, whose work is part of a wider artistic movement to express self-acceptance and self-love, as well as body confidence.
