Surplus food charity delivers 1.6million meals throughout NI in just one year
Fareshare NI, a project run by homeless organisation, redistributes edible stock for those in need
A new food sourcing officer for a FareShare in Northern Ireland is helping to tackle food poverty.
Fiona Currie from Belfast joined the project, run by Homeless Connect, which currently redistributes surplus food from the industry to 170 charities and community groups throughout Northern Ireland each week.
