Tower block to be stripped of cladding in £1m fire risk fix
Wooden decking on Belfast’s James Clow building will also be replaced as part of post-Grenfell disaster regulations
The managers of a Belfast tower block are to strip 14 floors of external cladding to fix fire safety defects and meet post-Grenfell disaster regulations.
Wooden decking on the balconies of the James Clow building, in the Sailortown area, will also be replaced with a non-flammable alternative. The work is expected to cost more than £1m.
