Drunken burglar found ‘lying in a heap on the kitchen floor’ jailed for eight months

A drunken burglar disturbed inside a home in north Belfast has been jailed for eight months.
Daniel Doherty ended up with “quite a few bruises” after being discovered in the kitchen of the Antrim Road property, a judge was told.
