Crusaders hero David Rainey: I knew Stuart Dallas was destined for the Premier League from the start

From his early days at Crusaders, Stuart Dallas showed he had the character and class to go on and become a Premier League star, according to former Seaview team-mate David Rainey.

Like everyone involved in the game, Rainey was gutted to hear this week that Dallas was retiring from professional football at the age of 32, with the Leeds and Northern Ireland hero admitting that an injury sustained two years previously while playing against Manchester City had done ‘irreparable damage’ to his knee.
