Why over-analysis of such a simple game as football is just a brainless excercise

There’s nothing like being motivated and well prepared for most things in life, and football is no different.

However, the more I hear of psychologists becoming more and more involved in football, the more I feel we’re at a stage where we’ve become so engrossed with in-depth analysis in virtually every aspect of the game that it starts playing havoc with the mind — hence this growing need for psychologists to find a solution to a problem that possibly doesn’t even exist.
