Irish League is losing another of its big characters with Raymond Crangle set to hang up whistle
When news broke that the world’s longest-serving manager, Crusaders’ Stephen Baxter, was stepping down at the end of this season, I said that it would leave a huge void in Irish League football.
Now it seems that another of our leading characters is about to do the same with senior referee Raymond Crangle planning to leave the stage in a few weeks and, again, I feel he will be sorely missed.
