Doctor John Bodkin Adams is a name few will have heard of, but there is every possibility the Ulster-born GP was the UK and Ireland’s most prolific serial killer.
His possible body count of more than 300 victims surpasses even that of Harold Shipman, who is estimated to have murdered 250 people.
